Profile
What is RSEAI?
Religion and Society in Southeast Asia Initiative (RSEAI) is a regional initiative committed to fostering a Southeast Asian society that is tolerant, knowledgeable, inclusive, and empathetic. We believe that diversity is a strength—one that must be nurtured, studied, and empowered as the foundation of a peaceful and thriving civilization.
Through education, research, and public advocacy, RSEAI develops a comprehensive ecosystem of Diversity Learning in Southeast Asia grounded in human rights values and deep respect for local socio-cultural contexts.
Building an Inclusive School of Diversity
We develop the Southeast Asian School of Diversity as an open, inclusive public learning platform that equips participants with knowledge, critical thinking skills, and cross-cultural understanding.
Producing Evidence-Based Research and Publications
We generate high-quality, data-driven research and reports that analyze the social, cultural, and religious dynamics shaping diversity across Southeast Asia.
Strengthening Regional and Interfaith Collaboration
We foster meaningful collaboration among countries, academic institutions, civil society, and religious communities to promote shared values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
